PLANNING & EXECUTION

We partner with your business to begin planning your next IT project. We will put a master consulting agreement in place before any work begins. This agreement lays out standard expectations, payment terms, and furthermore, intellectual property ownership.

We take a brief overlook of your hardware infrastructure, moreover finding out the current role of each piece of equipment. Our consultant will take note of old equipment that should be retired or moved into less mission-critical roles. We report immediately if any warning lights or alarms are present.

We go deeper, looking for areas where complexity can be reduced in your existing infrastructure, focusing on redundant systems– for example, legacy code that we can retire and tools that we can consolidate to improve data visibility and bring more strategic value to your organization.

We take a deep look at your security, analyzing router and firewall configurations, operating system patch levels and looking for user-installed software so that we can identify actionable ways to improve your security posture. Any critical findings are reported to management right away.

We provide a full report of our findings, identifying areas where we can align technology with your long-term business goals. Our consultant draws up a scope of work with an expected budget and time frame to complete. If you agree, our focus shifts from analysis to execution. This is the end of the planning stage.

We begin work on implementing the updates and changes we agreed upon in our scope of work. This is where the rubber meets the road, where we will systematically retire old systems that no longer provide value, actively change security configurations, update operating systems, and anything else we agreed on in our scope of work.

COMPLETION AND ONGOING SUPPORT

We spend the last hours of our execution stage cleaning up network cable routing, patching new software and doing final tests on your infrastructure project before sign off. Once you are satisfied with everything, our focus shifts to providing after-care support and managing the IT lifecycle of your project.

Throughout your project’s entire IT lifecycle, we train your employees on newly-installed software and provide ongoing support. Our consultant will do preventative maintenance, assess system performance, perform ongoing optimization, keep software up to date, and replace hardware components as they begin to fail.
